Our Pyrmont Peninsula Event Insights Report.
With the continually changing landscape of the Pyrmont Ultimo precinct, the Pyrmont Ultimo Chamber of Commerce is always keen to create a voice for local businesses in order to collectively advocate for challenges and opportunities that face the precinct.
The Business Advocacy Report of 2022 is a reflection of the current circumstances our local businesses are finding themselves in, especially in the aftermath of the pandemic of the last few years. This report provides data and opinions that effectively communicate the real challenges local businesses face, with 79% of those businesses surveyed, operating within the Pyrmont/Ultimo precinct.
The report focuses on key industries that contribute to job growth and the diversity of the Pyrmont/Ultimo job market was reflected in the variety of industries that participated in the survey. This included 29% from the Professional and business services sector, 19% from the health and fitness industry, 15% from creative industries, and 12% from retail. The themes the survey covered included future opportunities for local businesses, hybrid working, infrastructure investment, sustainability, green economy, services, tourism, entrepreneurs and innovation.
The report will be used to engage and inform stakeholders and decision-makers who can support and drive positive change for the precinct.
